About Qassandra

Qassandra is an aerialist, dancer, acrobat, and movement artist whose career spans stage performance, circus, television, commercial collaboration, editorial work, choreography, and education. With formal training in ballet and dance beginning at the age of four, her work reflects a precise and highly refined approach to technique, where rigorous physical standards meet a deeply intuitive sense of musicality and embodied storytelling.

She began her professional career in Minneapolis, developing a strong foundation in ballet, contemporary dance, and movement-based performance. After an injury rendered one foot unusable, she found the circus arts. Enticing Entertainment, a multi-award-winning events company, and Stomping Ground Studios recognized her passion for movement and together they taught her to fly.

Based for many years in San Diego, Qassandra performed extensively with companies including SeaWorld, Aerial Revolution, Twisted Orbit, Cirque Quirk, Nomad Artz, and numerous independent productions, while touring widely across North America. Her career includes performances at high-profile industry events such as the BizBash Awards, alongside companies including Cirque du Soleil, Lucent Dossier, and Cirque Berzerk, as well as extensive touring across major cities. In 2018, she performed in the Super Bowl halftime show alongside Justin Timberlake. Her commercial work includes a collaboration with Nike, contributing to the design of an apparel line for acro-yogis, and multiple featured performances at Motorlux in Monterey, California.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Qassandra continued working as a touring artist with companies including Zoppé: The Italian Circus and The Mysterious Circus, later part of Cirque Italia, and completed a three-month performance contract in Los Angeles for Elf on the Shelf.

She later relocated to Las Vegas, where she spent many years performing in large-scale productions for Caesars Entertainment — performing six days a week in the show World of Wonder as an aerialist and dancer, often featuring a water bowl act. She also served as a swing for additional Caesars productions including Rouge and Extravaganza!. A central part of her career was her long-standing involvement with Gladius, an equestrian, acrobatic circus production created by the team behind Cirque du Soleil's Cavalia, including its appearance on TBS's The Go Big Show.

Now based in Vancouver, Canada, Qassandra runs the aerial program at a School for Performing Arts and teaches youth and adult students across a range of disciplines. She also offers private coaching and small-group classes in hand balancing, active flexibility, and aerial apparatuses through her home studio and various studios throughout the city.
